Burns began her career on the television industry in 1995, playing Peg the American-Spanish teenager on the show Out of the Blue. Burns began her television career in 1995 when she joined the cast for the Spanish-American teen sitcom Out of the Blue (1995-1996). She later was a part of Baywatch: Hawaii, the sequel to the Baywatch action series. Burns left Baywatch due to her pregnancies.
